Question 1

Does AO price match?

Accepted Answer

No, AO does not price-match. If you're comparing prices, check AO's own Deals and Clearance pages first, and keep an eye on bundle offers like appliance plus installation, those are where the real savings show up.

Question 2

Does AO offer free delivery, or a free-delivery code?

Accepted Answer

AO's delivery cost depends on what you're buying and the delivery option you pick, there isn't a reliable free-delivery code. The better play is to watch for promos where standard delivery is included, or where installation and recycling are discounted.

Question 3

When are AO's biggest sales and Black Friday deals?

Accepted Answer

AO goes big around Black Friday and Boxing Day, with solid discounts on big-ticket stuff like TVs, washing machines and fridge freezers. Outside of that, the Clearance section is worth a look for end-of-line models that are still brand new.

Question 4

Does AO do a student discount?

Accepted Answer

AO does not run a standard student discount. You'll get better value by stacking sale prices with multi-buy bundles, and checking whether the same model number is cheaper in Clearance.

Question 5

Is AO Outlet worth it, and are the products new?

Accepted Answer

AO Outlet is for graded items, so you're trading a lower price for cosmetic marks or opened packaging. It's worth it for built-in appliances and big white goods where a small scuff won't bother you, just read the condition notes before you pay.
