POCO sits under Xiaomi as the value focused line, aiming to undercut mainstream mid range phones from Samsung’s Galaxy A series and Motorola’s G range. This POCO M8 pairs a large 6.77 inch Flow AMOLED screen with a generous 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, so it is pitched at people who want a big, smooth display and plenty of space for apps, photos and offline media without paying flagship money.

Who is this for?

Pick this if you spend a lot of time watching video, scrolling social feeds, or gaming on your phone. The 120Hz refresh rate makes motion look cleaner and can make the phone feel more responsive day to day, while AMOLED typically gives deeper blacks and stronger contrast than LCD, which helps with films and night use. The “eye protection” wording usually points to brightness control and blue light reduction features, useful if you read on your phone in the evening.

  • Display: 6.77 inch Flow AMOLED, up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling and animation.

  • Memory and storage: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for heavier app use and fewer storage worries.
