Sitting at the top of Samsung’s Galaxy S range, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the big screen flagship aimed at people who want a phone that can rival the best from Apple and Google. This 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version in Violet is pitched at heavy everyday use, from lots of apps and multitasking to high quality photos and video, without feeling cramped for space.

Who is the S26 Ultra for?

If you keep your phone for years, the Ultra line tends to make sense because it focuses on the things that date well: a large, sharp display for reading and streaming, plenty of memory for smoother switching between apps, and enough storage to avoid constant cloud juggling. The 256GB capacity is a sensible middle ground if you shoot a lot but do not want to manage files every week.

  • 12GB RAM for heavier multitasking and longevity
  • 256GB storage for photos, video and offline downloads
  • Violet finish if you want something less plain than black or silver
