Apple’s weekly Apple TV movie sale refreshes the iTunes Store style catalogue with temporary discounts on rentals and purchases, competing with the rotating promos you see on Prime Video, Google TV and Rakuten. This week’s list leans into modern horror, with “Evil Dead Rise” shifting the franchise’s mayhem from a cabin in the woods to a grimy city setting, following two estranged sisters as everything spirals out of control. It’s a useful roundup if you prefer buying films into the Apple ecosystem for playback across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV hardware.
