Back to the Future fans get a neat crossover here, the LEGO Speed Champions 77256 Time Machine DeLorean brings a movie icon into LEGO’s car focused range. It sits alongside other Speed Champions display builds, but swaps real world motorsport for sci fi nostalgia, competing with similar small scale collector sets from LEGO Icons and Creator that lean on pop culture appeal.
Who is this set for?
It suits builders who want a quick, satisfying project and a desk friendly display piece, rather than a big, complex model. The Speed Champions format usually means a compact footprint with lots of printed detail and clever shaping to capture the DeLorean’s wedge profile. If you enjoy recreating film moments, it also works well as a conversation starter next to other screen vehicles.
- Speed Champions scale build, small enough for shelves, with enough detail to feel recognisable
- Back to the Future theme, aimed at collectors as much as play
