Part of LEGO’s seasonal and gift with purchase line, the 40900 Scary Haunted Tree is a small Halloween themed build that sits alongside other limited time promos rather than the main play ranges. It’s closer in spirit to the little display sets that compete with BrickHeadz and other desk friendly builds, giving you something to put out for October without committing to a full haunted house.
Who is this for?
If you like LEGO’s spooky styling, this works well as a quick build for adults and older kids, or as a fun extra for collectors who enjoy promo exclusives. It’s also the sort of set that ends up as a seasonal mantelpiece piece, with enough character to stand on its own, but small enough to tuck into an existing Halloween display.
- Promo set, typically produced for a limited window, useful if you collect LEGO gift with purchase exclusives
- Display focused build, better for decoration than long form play
