Splatoon Raiders takes the Splatoon formula in a new direction on Nintendo Switch 2, leaning harder into a single player campaign while still sitting alongside the series’ fast, ink-flinging action. It’s positioned as a more structured adventure than the usual multiplayer-first entries, with progression, upgrades and repeatable raids, closer in feel to co-op focused shooters, but with Splatoon’s colour, movement and weapon variety.
Who is this for?
If you like the Splatoon universe but want something you can play at your own pace, this one centres on exploring the Spirhalite Islands as the mechanic, backed by Deep Cut and an Exploration Bot that helps in fights and loot runs. Raids revolve around taking on Salmonids, bringing resources back to camp, then improving your gear before heading out again. Co-op is there too, with support for up to four players online or via local wireless, so it can shift from solo progression to squad sessions when you want.
- Single player focused campaign with upgrade loops at camp
- Up to 4-player co-op (online or local wireless)
- Custom character, mechanical gadgets and ink weapons
