Part of the LEGO Icons range, set 10367 turns a famous The Lord of the Rings moment into a “book nook” display that slots between novels on a shelf. It sits in the same space as other adult-oriented LEGO display builds, competing with the growing number of decorative sets that prioritise presence over play. If you like Tolkien memorabilia but do not want a full diorama taking over a desk, the book nook format makes the Balrog scene feel contained and purposeful.
Who is this for?
Collectors who enjoy building for display, especially fans of the films, will get the most from it. It works well as a conversation piece in a living room or office, and it is also a nice change of pace if you are used to larger Icons sets and want something you can finish in a few sittings. Book lovers should note it is meant to sit among books, so you will want a shelf with enough depth and clearance.
- Book nook style, made to fit between books for a tidy shelf display
- Icons branding, aimed at older builders and collectors rather than kids’ play
