Thermalright’s Peerless Assassin 140 Digital is a chunky, dual tower air cooler aimed at the same crowd as big-name tower coolers from Noctua and be quiet!, but with a more budget-leaning focus. The “Digital” twist is the built-in display on the top cover, useful if you like keeping an eye on CPU temperature without opening software overlays. With its black finish and tall twin-stack design, it suits mid to high power CPUs where a stock cooler starts to get noisy or runs hot.
Who is this cooler for?
Pick it if you want strong air cooling headroom and can fit a 165 mm tall heatsink in your case. The dual tower layout increases fin area for better heat dissipation, while six 6 mm heatpipes and a nickel plated copper base help move heat away from the CPU efficiently.
- Size: 140 x 160 x 165 mm, check case clearance before buying
