Entry to St Paul’s Cathedral’s Floor and Crypt covers the main worship space and the atmospheric burial areas beneath, putting you right in the middle of one of London’s most recognisable landmarks. It sits alongside other big-ticket heritage visits like Westminster Abbey, but with a very different feel, grand baroque architecture above, centuries of memorials below, and the option to go higher if you want the full experience.
Is it worth adding the Dome Galleries?
If you have the legs for it, the galleries are where St Paul’s becomes more than a walk-through. The Whispering Gallery, reopened in 2023 after a long closure, is the famous acoustic spot inside the dome. Higher up, the Stone and Golden Galleries are about views, with London laid out around you, and a real sense of scale you do not get from the floor.
