Modern Warfare 4 is the next mainline Call of Duty entry, landing on PS5 and Xbox Series X, and it goes up against the usual big-budget shooters from Battlefield and Halo. If you like the Modern Warfare style, fast gunplay, familiar weapons, and a steady stream of multiplayer updates, this is the kind of release that tends to dominate party chats for weeks after launch.
Is the pre-order bonus actually worth caring about?
The included Hunter Killer Operator Skin and Gilded Pearl Camo Pack are cosmetic extras, so they will not change weapon stats or progression. They are mainly for anyone who enjoys customising loadouts and wants something distinctive from day one, especially if you are planning to spend most of your time in multiplayer.
- Platform: PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are listed, check you are selecting the right one at checkout.
- Bonus content: Operator skin plus two weapon camos, aimed at early customisation rather than gameplay advantage.
