Mondraker is Spanish, and well known in the mountain bike world for Forward Geometry basically a longer front end with a shorter stem, so you sit more centred over the bike. The Raze is their short-travel trail bike, one step below the Foxy. 29er wheels, around 130mm rear travel. Good climber that can still handle proper descents.
What's on the spec sheet?
- Aluminium frame with Forward Geometry
- ~130mm rear travel, 29" wheels
- SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain
- Maxxis tyres (Dissector front, Aggressor rear)
- Disc brakes
- Zero suspension platform
Normally this competes with Canyon and YT trail bikes at the 3k mark. At 1,600 there's genuinely nothing comparable a full-sus 29er at this spec for that money doesn't come up often. Deal ends 22 May.
