Nintendo’s Switch 2 sits at the top of the Switch family as the newer hybrid console, taking on the likes of PlayStation and Xbox for living room play while keeping the pick up and play portability that made the original Switch so popular. In black, it keeps the understated look, with the big draw being a sharper handheld experience and a docked setup for the TV when you want a bigger screen.

Who is this for?

It makes the most sense if you like swapping between handheld and TV play, or if you found the original Switch’s handheld screen a bit soft. The 1080p handheld display should make text and UI clearer on the go, and docking means you can move sessions to the sofa without changing how you play. If you mainly play at a desk or only on a TV, a dedicated home console may still suit you better.
