Google’s Chromecast with Google TV sits at the top of the Chromecast range, competing with streamers like Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K and Roku’s 4K models. This one is listed as an A grade customer return in “as new used” condition, which typically means it has been opened and sent back, then fully tested, reset and repacked with minimal or no cosmetic marks. It’s described as a UK retail unit with original accessories, so you should be getting the proper voice remote and power lead in the box.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants a simple 4K HDR upgrade for an older TV, or who prefers a proper on screen interface over casting from a phone. Google TV pulls together apps and recommendations on the home screen, while the voice remote lets you search, launch apps and control playback without reaching for your mobile.
- 4K HDR output, useful if your TV supports HDR and you want sharper streaming from compatible services.
- Google TV interface, better suited to browsing than classic Chromecast casting.
- Voice remote included, for quick searches and day to day control.
