Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on PS5 is a PEGI 18, story driven RPG that sits in the modern, cinematic end of the genre, competing with the likes of Final Fantasy style party adventures and other narrative heavy, turn based experiences. The hook is its bleak premise, a world where a mysterious figure known as the Paintress “erases” people by age, pushing you into a desperate expedition with high stakes and a strong focus on atmosphere.

Who will enjoy Expedition 33?

This is for players who want a dramatic single player campaign, character led storytelling and combat that rewards planning rather than button mashing. Expect a darker tone, mature themes and a setting that leans into surreal fantasy, so it is better suited to those after something moodier than a typical heroic quest.

  • Platform: PS5, built for current gen visuals and fast loading.
