London’s Superloop network is getting another orbital link, with the new TfL SL12 express bus route running between Gants Hill, Romford, Elm Park and Rainham. It sits alongside other Superloop services as a quicker alternative to standard stopping routes, and it competes with piecing together local buses or taking rail for shorter cross borough hops in east London.
Who is this free week of travel for?
If you live, work or regularly travel between Redbridge, Havering and Barking and Dagenham, the first week is a low risk way to test whether the SL12 actually saves you time at the hours you travel. It is also useful for anyone who normally avoids buses for longer trips, as Superloop routes are intended to keep moving with fewer stops.
